An expository essay should always have some relev ance to your topic of study so that you can apply it to your teaching.There are some essay topics that are suitable for both undergraduate and graduate level courses. However, some topics are better suited for certain types of classes. For example, research papers are best used in areas of science, while medical and law topics are more suited for nursing, psychology, and law. The same goes for expository essays and reports, which are usually best used in courses such as English and Communications.
